About Me

Hey there! My name is Brie Rotelle. I've been on a journey with God basically since I was born, and am so thankful that He provided me with a home and family where I was taught about His love. So, 19 years later, I am continuing on this journey, searching for Him- and finding Him- in every place that He leads me. He is continuously revealing different things about Himself to me, and I never want to get tired of learning about Him!

So... a few random things about me: (that's what these pages are for, right?)
I love grass. I could walk in it, smell it, look at it... all day long.
I love to horseback ride and worked in Wyoming on a dude ranch for a few months... that was pretty cool:)
One of my favorite things to do is swing.
I tend to use the phrase "It made sense in my head!" pretty often.
I LOVE to play the guitar and sing... I just love it!
Out of six of us, I'm the only one in my family with blonde hair.
Pancakes and applesauce are probably my favorite foods (not together, of course!)
But really, I just love food.
Outside is my favorite place to be:)
I wear a flannel shirt as much as I can. They are the perfect piece of clothing, in my opinion!

That's about it! Well, not really. I'm kind of quirky:) But aren't we all?

Well, adios! (isn't it cool that the word adios is "goodbye" and a blessing?! Dios=God:)

Following Him

I wanted to share how I came up with the name for my blog. I feel so famous, saying "I have a blog!" and knowing what I write is up for the entire world to see! haha:). Anyways, as I sat down to make this, the first thing it asked me for was the title. I had NO IDEA what to make it! I put a few ideas in the blank, but didn't like any of them, so I sent a quick prayer to the Man Upstairs and looked in my journal. The first words I saw in my journal were "Follow You." That sounded good to me! I just changed the "You" to "Him" so you knew who I was following:)

That day I finished the book I was reading and decided to start the next one I had- Not A Fan by Kyle IdlemanGuess what it's about? Not just being a "fan" of Jesus, but a fully committed and surrendered follower. It was pretty exciting:) I re-remembered that following Him is not only a physical choice, but one made in our heart. This was SUCH A GOOD BOOK and would highly recommend it to ANYONE! Anyways, just thought it was cool how God brought all of that together and decided to share it with you.
